Babies are generally more sensitive to toxins due to a number of factors, such as their higher exposure relative to body weight and more permeable skin. Choosing non-toxic products is especially important for our small humans!

Babies chew on everything so nontoxic products are very important. When choosing toys, opt for natural materials, like wood. Toys painted with water-based and plant-based dyes are best.

For teethers specifically, food grade silicone, natural rubber, and beechwood are safer materials. Teethers are not indestructible. Check them frequently to make sure no damage is occurring.
