AVOID NON STICK COATINGS! They typically contain PFAS, a "forever chemical" that builds up in the body over time and is linked to immune dysfunction, thyroid and other hormone disruption, liver enxyme and kidney dysfunction, fertility issues, and increased risk of certain cancers
Recommended Materials: Stainless Steel and Cast Iron. Enameled Cast Iron can be okay too but avoid brands that may leach lead.
Pro Tip: Choose brands that have safety ratings and third party testing for the safety of their materials.
All Clad Stainless Steel Cookware
Teflon coated nonstick pans release PFAS that stays in your body for years so those need to go!

Replace your aluminum and PFAS-coated nonstick pans with this quality baking pan made from nontoxic stainless steel.
Choose enamel-coated cast iron over nonstick cookware. The enamel coating creates a stable, non-reactive surface, so it doesn’t require chemical nonstick coatings (like PFAS/PTFE) and doesn’t leach iron in the same way bare cast iron can.
Quality matters. Well-made enamel coatings are durable and food-safe, but chipped or low-quality enamel could expose the underlying metal, so it’s best to use intact, reputable brands like this Staub pan.
